BenchMark is currently recruiting for an ambitious and detail-oriented Audit Senior in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio across various sectors including professional services, retail, hospitality, and not-for-profits.
The successful candidate will take on a key role in leading audits from planning through to completion, while mentoring junior team members and maintaining high client service standards. The Role:
Lead and manage audits for a broad range of clients
Develop audit strategies and execute risk-based audit plans
Prepare and review financial statements in line with FRS 102 and relevant standards
Liaise directly with clients, providing clear communication and timely updates
Supervise and support junior staff, including on-the-job training and performance feedback
Ensure deadlines are met and that audits are completed to high technical standards
Identify opportunities to add value to client relationships and internal processes
Keep up to date with developments in accounting and audit regulations
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
1–2 years’ post-qualification experience in audit, preferably within a practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP and auditing standards
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with audit software is an advantage
