The Role:

Maintain the Accounts Payable system, ensuring accurate recording of supplier invoices using ERP software.
Assist with customer invoicing, including preparing Activity Logs and tracking billable hours.
Manage the Accounts Receivable system to ensure timely payments and reconciliation.
Oversee the approval process for invoices, expenses, and purchase orders in line with company policy.
Assist with the setup of new customer and supplier accounts within the ERP system.
Support monthly financial close processes, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and income statement analysis.
Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Manage and process employee and consultant expense claims.
Assist with cash flow forecasting and projections.
Address and resolve account-related queries as they arise.
Calculate VAT liabilities and submit VIES data to tax authorities quarterly.
Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors and government agencies.
Assist with payroll duties and manage HR-related financial activities.
Support the preparation of documentation for government grants and R&D tax credit claims.
Participate in stock counts and review results for accuracy.

Requirements:

Qualified Accountant with 1-2 yrs PQE
Experience with ERP systems and a focus on process improvements.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent time management and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Ability to adapt and function in a fast-changing environment with competing priorities.

•Ensure effective control and operation of the company’s finance activities.

•Prepare audit files for external auditors.

Requirements:
•Hold a recognised qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
•Minimum of 1-2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a multi-national environment.
•Proficient in ERP accounting packages, with experience in process improvement projects.
•Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
