The Role:

Take responsibility for a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring that work is planned, carried out, and finalised in line with deadlines and quality standards
Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion
Supervise and support junior members of the audit team, providing coaching and feedback
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
Liaise with partners and managers on technical matters and engagement progress
Ensure compliance with relevant auditing and accounting standards (e.g. Irish GAAP, FRS 102)
Assist with the development of internal audit processes and contribute to staff training initiatives

Requirements:

ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
3–5 years’ practice-based audit experience, ideally within a mid-tier or large accountancy firm
Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP and relevant auditing standards
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven experience managing audit assignments and leading teams
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
