BenchMark Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Brand Strategy. Our client is a leading Organisation in their field with leading brands and due to continued growth and a re-structure of the team; there is a requirement to bring in a strong Head of Brand Strategy with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude to join the Team. This is an extremely exciting, diverse, and varied role and that you must be able to work at pace; be commercial; come with ideas and get buy in from stakeholders.
As the senior leader in commercial and brand strategy, you will bring knowledge of the beauty and cosmetics industry to work on strategy and campaigns as well as NPD, launch and go-to-market strategies for new categories. As the most senior marketing person in the business, you will assume more ownership of the whole brand marketing function.
•Help design and execute the strategy to make their brand the go-to destination for beauty in competing with both horizontal and vertical players
•P&L responsibility with the SLT across multiple regions to ensure revenue and margin targets are met
•Responsible for driving the categories across multiple markets and further building and developing the beauty offering for our customers. Ensure a complete and relevant assortment of products at competitive prices, where the products are available to the customer in the fastest time possible
•Lead and grow the digital marketing and eCommerce teams capabilities to make a high performing team.
•Ensure the delivery of strong online performance for BtoC sales using best practice SEO, SEM and PPC as well as social media strategies and manage the brands’ crucial online presence and digital footprint globally; improve user experience, engagement, and site conversion.
•Develop and implement a concrete strategy for the wholesale and retail strategy to win new business and retain existing distribution retail partners.
•Develop, implement, and manage initiatives across all platforms aligning to an omnichannel digital customer experience and marketing technology to underpin this to allow the business to scale
•Work closely with other functions to ensure requirements of the category are met through Logistics, Operations and Finance collaboration and support
•Build the brand as a destination which is known for trust, reliability, and relevance, where repeat purchases are consistently high
•Own and build relationships with key accounts and brands to ensure health of the relationship and continued business performance
•Degree-qualified in marketing or advertising; additional qualifications in digital marketing
•People management including day-to-day, development, coaching, performance reviews
•Excellent research and data analysis, with capability to make informed, data-led decisions
•Budget-management skills with previous experience working in and around a P&L for a brand / product line.
•Solid IT skills with great PC Proficiency (Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel and Powerpoint);
•Digital Native with a real passion for social media and solid expertise in advertising platforms and tools; organic traffic; affiliate and influencer campaigns.
•Be able to articulate clearly the advantages of TikTok over Facebook and vice versa for specific Campaigns.
•Great interpersonal and collaborative skills to work in conjunction with the business owner and creative
•Strong Project Management Skills; prioritization and organization skills
•Strong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral)
•Must be professional and energetic with a positive attitude, adaptable and agile in approach
