BenchMark are currently looking to recruit a talented and experience Senior Financial Accountant who is ready for the step up to Finance manager level now or in the near future for our client in Co Offaly.

The Role:
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts and provide relevant financial commentary.
• Work closely with accounting team to ensure that the financial accounts, Revenue requirements and the payroll are prepared within the set timelines.
• Reconcile the balance sheet and ensure account balances are supported by appropriate documentation and to ensure the P&L is accurate.
• Oversee Banking & Cash Flow, Debtors, and Accounts Payable.
• Preparation of annual budgets.
• Provide regular updates on key performance indicators.
• Be compliant with accounting and tax legislation.
• Ongoing development and review of accounting systems, controls, and processes.
• Take responsibility for systems development and better utilisation of existing ERP and IT facilities.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work closely with accounting team to ensure that the financial accounts, Revenue requirements and the payroll are prepared within the set timelines.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across the business on new projects.
• Provide financial advice and support and updates to key parties.
• Other Ad-Hoc duties as required.
Requirements;
• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA
• 3+ years post qualification experience
• Excellent Communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Very Proficient in IT & systems, with
• Past exposure to Sage is preferable.
• Previous experience in manufacturing advantageous.
Salary; €65,000 – €75,000
